As the home bar's alcohol selection dwindles away to practically nothing, I'm still finding creative things to do with the leftovers.
2 oz cognac
3/4 oz amaretto
Serve over ice.
This was a nice combination--enough cognac to cut the sweetness of the amaretto, but I could still taste the amaretto. A nice after-dinner sort of drink.
